Being Mindful...
Claire began mindfulness practices as a keen meditator with Friends of the Western Buddhist Order (FWBO), now Triratna Buddhist Centre. In 2004 she enhanced her skills while in Bergedorf, Germany, where she consciously devoted time at a regular practice of sitting and walking meditation. Science has finally caught up with what the ancients have been practicing for centuries! When monks in Tibet used mindfulness techniques, MRI scans of their brains showed more neural connections and activity than their non-meditating counterparts. Becoming more mindful improves:
